ABOUT JON NEY
Jon Ney is an Executive Music Producer, producer, songwriter, and entertainment executive working across recorded music, film, technology, and large-scale media ventures.
He currently serves as Vice President of Animal Head Entertainment and Executive Producer at The Benford Company, where he helps oversee creative development, music production, and strategic entertainment projects spanning music, film, and media.
Jon serves as Executive Music Producer on Lucille, the upcoming B.B. King biopic featuring Quavo and other major recording artists, contributing to both the film's musical identity and soundtrack development.
His work includes releases through Animal Head Entertainment, including Paris — Together, a globally distributed record that has generated more than 20 million streams worldwide, as well as the acclaimed jazz single Dedication Song, further showcasing his versatility across multiple genres and audiences.
Operating across pop, electronic, jazz, and film-driven projects, Jon bridges creative production with executive-level leadership, helping position projects for both artistic impact and commercial success.
Beyond his work in music production, Jon is actively involved in the expansion of entertainment infrastructure and creator-focused technology. Through his executive roles with Animal Head Entertainment and The Benford Company, he is helping launch a major studio and production complex in Las Vegas scheduled to open in 2026 — expected to support major music, film, television, and digital media productions while attracting high-profile creative projects to the region.
Animal Head Entertainment is also a strategic partner in Certifyd, a next-generation creator commerce and distribution platform designed to reshape how artists monetize their work, manage ownership, and build direct relationships with their audiences. Together, these initiatives reflect Jon's commitment to helping shape the future of entertainment, both creatively and technologically.
Jon began his career in the electronic music space under the BL3R project, gaining early recognition through official remix competitions, label releases, and collaborations connected to artists such as Gareth Emery and DJ Carnage. His early work included a release on Spinnin' Records' Oxygen platform, where his track “Heat” became one of the most played records on the label.
Today, Jon continues to work at the intersection of music, film, technology, artist development, and entertainment infrastructure — building projects that connect world-class talent with global audiences while helping shape the future of the creator economy.
